Understanding Chronological Age
Chronological Age is the amount of time that has passed from your birth to the given date. It is your age in terms of years, months, days, etc. This is the primary way we define age for administrative, legal, and cultural purposes.
How is it Calculated?
This tool uses precise Gregorian calendar logic, accounting for:
- Leap years (every 4 years).
- Varying days in months (30 vs 31, 28/29 for Feb).
- Timezone differences (calculated based on your local browser time).
Chronological vs Biological Age
While chronological age is fixed by time, Biological Age refers to how old your cells and tissues act. Factors like diet, exercise, and stress can make your biological age higher or lower than your chronological age.
